After months of testing and trying to dump their branded software on the Nokia N97, Orange have decided not to stock the Nokia N97. We had a few phone calls with Orange and apparently they are still having problems with the phone. Despite having no issues with the Nseries device the Nokia N86, they are unable to get it just the way they want it for their customers.

If we’re talking in all honesty, they have probably seen the return amounts, seen the Nokia N900 and analysed the N97 as probably not being a worthwhile investment. I would have to agree also. Although you can’t buy the phone directly through Orange themselves, it’s still possible to get the phone on a £35/month contract with the Carphone Warehouse. The deal will get you 900 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited internet, perfect for the N97 really.
