If you’re one for a powerful camera then the sight of a 12 megapixel Nokia camera phone makes your taste buds tingle. Take a look at the image on the left, it says Nokia on the tin and may look the real deal but we’re not convinced.
It’s nice to be optimistic but if we look at the design of the Nokia N86 and N82, this flat camera lens and uninviting design, a single LED flash which one of our readers pointed out, does give us our doubts. We may be wrong but it makes sense. Nokia have just had a busy week at Stuttgart and we don’t think a release of a camera phone will be coming quite yet.
Anyway, why do we need a 12 megapixel camera phone anyway?

I don’t think what we’re seeing is the main camera, but the video call camera and light sensor. At 12 mp, it would probably be the imaging flagship, and have some sort of lens mechanism. I bet the real camera is on the back of what we’re seeing now.
I look for this device to be a touchscreen device. The screen seems to probably rotate like the N90, but in the manner that the screen can be visible with the clamshell closed, ala that Softbank’s 933SH.
Just guessing, though. But the size of the upper section housing the camera looks too large not to rotate.

there is no way that is a real nokia i have had nokia’s all my life im a big fan of technology and take in every detail and the 12 MP next to the midget camrea proberbly a 2 MP posing as a 12 sugests that that is the twelve nokias flashes are always bigger than that and there now useing two insted of one the style is to cheesy and whats more tere is no way there would be a mock up moddle of it yet and that housing is way to small to hold a 12MP camrea and all of nokias briliant technology that looks like someone is trying to put people off waiting for a 12MP Nokia. THERE IS NO WAY THAT IS A NOKIA ITS A NOCK OFF and that rely gets to me!!!
