There is a rumoured update coming soon to the 5800 which is apparently going to include such new features as:
- Kinetic Scrolling
- Enhanced home screen
- Improved camera performance
- Improved response time
The rumour is coming from a Daily Mobile forum member who has recently been to a meet and greet session with the Nokia Malaysia team in order to preview the new 5530 XpressMusic device. Apparently when asked about a new firmware update, the Nokia product manager stated that there is one in testing stage, which may potentially include kinetic scrolling (as seen on the iPhone), enhanced homescreen (widget  integration maybe?) along with various camera and speed improvements.
Remember this is at the rumour stage just now and hasn’t been officially confirmed. Fingers crossed its true though

I’ve also heard that it will cure cancer and bring peace to the world.
How the devil do we get the first firmware? I am still on V21.0.025. I have tried the OTA option everyday with no success and even tried the software update to no avail.
I am very tempted to use Nemisis to unlock or change my product code, but scared it will mess it up.
Looking forward to all of the above changes to the phone.
